Located on the east of Mallorca, this is the fourth largest municipality of the island. Its highest point is the Puig de Sant Salvador, with 501 meters, on the top of which is the sanctuary that bears the same name, built to market the Black Death that devastated Europe in 1834 and which caused the death of around 900 people in the town, half of its then population. The municipal area has more than 2,300 hotel rooms for summer visitors.

This is the municipality considered the second capital of Mallorca, it is an industrial area(called the capital of leather) and located near  to the Serra de Tramuntana, in the aiguer area. It is the fourth most populated town of Mallorca, with 24,000 inhabitants, head of administrative area head of region, apart from being also a good shopping center. On the Puig de Santa Magdalena, 287 meters high, the sanctuary with the same name is located, although the highest of the region is situated ontop of the Puig des Minyons, 307 meters. These two tops form the Puig d´Inca and are used as a view point of the rural farm lands of the Pla, Raiguer andTramuntana. One of the most important and traditional celebrations of the municpality is the Dijous Bo fair, which is held in November.

A municipality with 325 square kilometers, the biggest in Mallorca with 18,000 inhabitants, mainly laid out around the coast area, which stretches from s´Arenal beach to S´Estanyol de Migjorn, with Son Bieljó and Son Reinés housing developments, Inland there is the Puig de Randa, where Mare de Déu de Grácia sanctuary rises. Llucmajor has many states and talayotic settlements, among which Jacob Bell stands out.

This town is considered the second most important in Mallorca. The city, known for it production of artificial pearls and its furniture industry, is located in the foothills of the Serra de Llevant and was created in the year 1300 by James II. Its most important monuments are the Torre de Ses Puntes (fourteenth century), San Vicenç Ferrer Domincan convent (with churrigueresque altar pieces) and antoDomingo baroque cloister. The calcareous constituent of the soil has caused the formation of several caves around the town.
